And a few oldies but goodies as we find 'em...
 
November 2008 Penny, Chairman of CDS, and Ralph, long-time contractor for CDS, sign the necessary paperwork for the commencement of construction of a storage extension on the south end of the Prospect Playhouse. The extension is expected to be completed by the end of December 2008, providing valuable storage and meeting space.

 

 
January 30th 2007 Saint Ignatius Prep Drama Club visits the Prospect PlayhouseSome 30 school children with acting on their mind toured the Prospect Playhouse today. Accompanied by club leader, teacher Carla Braccia, and volunteer parents Louise Baulk and Maria Leggatt, together with other parents, the club has students from Kindergarten up to year 6 participating.
September 7th 2006 Triple C drama students visited the Prospect Playhouse and were shown the works by Theatre Manager Peter Phillips and Stage Manager Paul de Freitas.  
April 22nd 2006 Cayman National Cultural Foundation put on Cayfest 360, a smorsmaborg of all things cultural, in the Governor's Ballroom at the Westin Casuarina on Seven Mile Beach. Paul de Freitas contributed to the "open mike" session, reading his poem "The Lonely Sandfly", while Alan Hall, Rick Glass and Brad Renford read "The Cat Race", an exerpt from the 2006 production Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell.
     
     
     

The Cayman Drama Society welcomes visits by schools to its premises. Arrangements can be made through Peter Phillips, Theatre Manager (949-5585) or in his absence, Paul de Freitas (916-6331).
